Obviously KWs are important...
this is the key to view your site...
but related and good KWs are much important...
those are the words that usually the visitors used in finding a site...
so KWs analysis is very important to identify a better KWs...

Keyword research is important because you have to select keywords that belongs to the more popular niches but at the same time, you have to make sure that your site and keywords can be optimized easily.
