Is compressed HTML seach engine friendly
Hi,
We host a CD and DVD replication site at newcyberian.com. Due to the many options a customer can choose, we have to populate several level of pull-down menus with instant price update. If I included all the products my index page will have 380K. I have researched and found compressed HTML seems to be a good solution. Just wonder if Google or other search engine crawlers can un-gzip a compressed HTML file and index it as if it is a normal HTML file. Can anyone with google authority answer my question? Thanks! |
