I agree. IBLs from relevant sites with good PR are better than those from non related sites. However, unless the sites linking back to you are related to porn or adult things, they can help and there's nothing wrong with getting such backlinks.

No I will never go for these type of non related links.Always I will try to get theme based related links.

I know through that I may get more traffic but that may decrease my ranking in Google SERP page. Professional SEO Company India

Relevant or not, a backlink is still a backlink. I think that Google gives more 'grade' for relevant links. But if you have many irrelevant links, then its total 'grade' might gain some noticeable weight. Just my thought.

I think it's no problem. The most important is the anchor text relevant with your content.

Certainly , relevant links from related sites would have positive effects because relevant back links are major source for the development of blog networking

yeah dude,

May be it will give negative effect only....Even though SE's will still counted as backlinks even if it is non related,but it is better to get links on relevant site. If u have few quality backlinks means your site will get more weight Instead of getting 100 irrelevant links.

they could help but putting your site at risk....don't waste time linking to any porn site because it might ruin your site's credibility.
