I think it will be considered as a backlinks for your site, but it will be better to have links from relevant websites..Relevance is important in building links..

I think you need to be specific on your category when submitting, this may help you on your irrelevant issue on sites you have submitted.

The way I see it is that the more links the better. Regardless of related content or not. It also shouldnt matter how fast you build your backlinks except a slight fluctuation in your SE ranking.

Careful! Creating backlinks too quickly can have a temporary negative effect on rankings. Relevant links count more.

Quality and relevancy of links matters than quantity.If a site has a lot of backlinks and are not relevant,then it is of no use.One quality backlink is much much better than 10 non relevant backlinks.We cannot assure that these non relevant links will remain or disappear in the long run. Page Rank is not always an indication of good traffic for your website.

on your traffic---yeep positive--becauz, those 100 links from PR6 sites sounds pretty good, it's quality that google vaule
qulaity and relevancy are the answers for your answer
