Google link problem

Hi

I have built this website for a client.

http://www.kensitas-silkflowers.co.uk

It has many links on the links page to other sites, and these sites link back. But when i do the 'link:www.kensitas-silkflowers.co.uk' i get no results back. Why would this be? On other search engines the link command shows other websites linking to the website???

I know this is also affecting the google ranking of the site.

Any ideas much appreciated!!

try on yahoo/msn for an exact # of reported backlinks..google doesn't show all the IBL' eventhough they counted as reported as backlinks..

thanks for that. does this affect the google rating for the website? what kind of links will improve the rating then? do i just need more links from sites with good google ratings themeselves?

just continue linking to relevant sites and authority sites and you'll have no problem.

don't worry about google backlinks. :P they don't show all of it for any website, me thinks..
