google hasn't indexed my site for some time now..

Hi there,

My site hasn't been indexed by Google for some time now. I don't know if that is because my sitemap was not up to date until recently(except for the English section), my robots.txt stinks or because my pages all end with .php now...
Only the main page www.gateway2thailand.com is indexed.
The only traffic I have been getting nowadays is through forums I visit or via MSN and http://ilse.nl .
Could any of you guys tell me if is the robots.txt or something else?

Thanks

You need more links, also don't just get links to the homepage, but to deeper web pages. Your robots.txt is OK and your php web pages won't cause a problem like this.

link exchange to related sites, submit to SE friendly directories. get one way link thru press release, article submissions inorder for your site to be visible by search engine bots..

Jet_black, if your trying to submit to Google don't expect anything fast, maybe nothing at all. You need to get backlinks from web pages that Google knows about and spiders often without a lot of links on the web page. Without anyone linking to you, your not likely to be found by any of the search engines. You can try that new sitemap service they offer, but who knows if they'll spider your web site any faster with it and the system could have bugs in it since it's so new.

I've had an approved XML sitemap that is checked by Googlebot twice a day. It's been there for a full month for a new site, but I can't tell that it's doing any good. Anyone had luck with this new feature yet? Just curious.

Best thing to do is get google webmaster tools and submit add your sitemap, basically setup everything in webmaster.

I did this for a blog and was indexed in a week.
