Give people a reason to visit your website, make it easy for them to browse the website too.

for fastest web traffic you want to do directory submission,Article submission,Blog posting,Forum by using Signature,Social Bookmarking and also important thing is do with your relevant site. For example if you are working for automotive site then go for automotive only.....

To increase a site traffic you need more link popularity, build related links using the link building techniques mentioned above, the also use press release, just make sure its news worthy.
