Include your site with keywords in anchor text in signature in forums. Social bookmarking is also a good way to drive the traffic. But also your blog need to contain Quality and good information that let users to come again on your blog.

Search engines like content and the content in blogs get frequently updated.They have added functionality like posting comments,subscribing to rss feeds and trackbacks.if you have a blog with RSS feed , you increase your chance of getting visible within blog and RSS search engines.
