Javascript and spiders
I`m thinking of using a javascript browser sniffer, mainly because I want to use a fixed photo banner at the top of my page. The page in question is stretchable for all resolutions, but I need the sniffer script so it will switch between the different size banners.
My worry is, would adding javascript to my pages cause any problems with spider trying to index my content? Would the spiders get stuck? Sorry if that sounds noob |

Google has posted on their own blog and other places that they are on the lookout for Java Script tricks by webmasters. I would recommend finding another way to made your page look good for all who visit. If your code looks like a trick you could be punished even if you were not trying to do anything wrong.
