havent done that.. but i would suggest if you want paid listings go to the most respectable paid directories so you can see your moneys worth

Other than the $300 you need for Yahoo, those SE's are free. Plus, if you're linked well on other sites you're only helping out. I say if you can get good targeted traffic from a respectable directory ( with SE-friendly links ) then why not? $25 is nothing when you think about it

I have a free dmoz/google directory listing but I have never believed that it's worth paying $300 a year for a link in the Yahoo directory.

It probably depends on the size of your business and how much you are willing to spend but I feel at best it will improve my Page Rank and search results slightly and send a small amount of traffic directly.

Has anyone had any success stories of adding a Yahoo directory listing and seeing an increase in PageRank, search results and traffic?

I'm am interested to hear if that is the case as if I am proved wrong I would probably justify spending the money on the listing.
