hi friends!!

what is the impact of keyword density on search engine optimization? If I increase the density does it have positive effect on google ranking?

The 3 to 5 keywords in hundred words is the optimal keyword density that should be retained in the body of the content. But the keywords should be assimilated with the content without adversely affecting the flow of the writing. Having a keyword rich content is a plus point.

I agree with technoweb. I think there is really no point in adding excessive keywords. It might end up being treated as keyword stuffing by google. Ideal density is 3%.to 5% in content..

I think the range of keyword density on the body is 2-4%..More than this can harm your site..

as far as I know 4% is the ideal percentage of keyword, more than that will penalize your site.

IMO--5% will be okay and better

If your putting too much keywords then you'll have higher percentage of keyword density. This result to keyword stuffing. Its one of the result of black hat techniques. If your going to do this, Google might give penalties on you of else you'll be banned..
