Help With new website

Hey everyone
So first off not sure if this topic is in the right category but anyways i have a couple questions.
First I would appreciate it if everyone could check out my website and give me some helpful feedback. Livestocktrade.ca
Second, it has been running for about a week and a half and i have submitted the url to google but it has still not came up in google when directly typed for. Am i doing something wrong or does it just take time?

Any questions regarding formatting i will likely not be able to answer since i did not do it my self haha.

Listing your site in Google will really takes time and your website is still young, just be patient and continue link building your site to be index by Google..

Getting your site indexed by major search engines like Google and Yahoo is a time consuming job. My personal suggestion is; that the day you purchased your domain (and you even don't have a complete website yet); just submit your domain to all major search engines. I've heard about it from other SEOs too. This would save your time as your website is in the line to be crawled by Google or Yahoo. The reason behind this is that search engines have to crawl thousands of websites daily and it is nearly impossible for your website to be crawled within two weeks.

In short, your website would be crawled by Google Robots within a month or two...

Hey thanks for the help,I got listed in Google on Saturday, one week and one day after it was posted on the web. I'm just wondering what you mean when you say i don't have a complete site? Is that all my category's are not filled with ads yet?

By saying "new website", I meant that it would be better to add a newly purchased DOMAIN to search engines in case you don't have a complete website.

For example: I purchased a domain xyzcompany.com to day and I don't have a webpage for xyzcompany.com to upload till now. So, to save time and to get listed on search engines quickly, it would be effective to submit my domain (without a web page) to search engines.
