Does featuring in business directory helps in improving Google Page Rank?

I have learnt that directory submission is a part of SEO work.Submission is crucial in SEO to bring the site in top of search engine.

It should help on Pagerank, if the directory have good PR value, and your link is dofollow.

For me, If you want to increase your PR build more links and generate more traffics to your site..
