google not crawling and sitemap error

1st 2 weeks of submission in google webmaster tools it accepted the sitemap and it was working properly, but after few days it displays sitemap error where I havent changed anything on my sitemap and google also havent crawaled my site, i have changed Meta tags of site and only few pages have been indexed. What do you think the problem might be, and my brain is about to blast off..can't think of any good offpage optimization tactics, please suggest any good and fast offpage methods!!! I did : directory submission, forum posting, thinking of link exchanges but i cant see any result of my work !! why Why why ????

Hi,

I think you need to keep patience. Is your website is very new? Sometimes it takes time to get crawled and indexed all the pages of the site, if your website is very new. Just carry on with your link building tactics.

Regarding the sitemap error. i guess you will need to again submit your sitemap.

For offpage optimization...just do what you are doing and have some patience. In SEO, you need to have patience and it will soon start to give you good results.

Thank u thomas and Stephen !! wel, I guess I just have to keep doing the offpage work and have some patience and about the sitemap, i tried resubmitting but still shows an error ... and yeah, today the website showed some progress, yeah it indexed few more pages and yeah happy about that and some good keywords are also in 1st place ...and some of the other pages with important keywords are also indexed but they are in very far in the list ...I think am going to modify my content and add some more keywords to increase keyword density...do you have any good suggestion, to improve the search result...what are the factors that google requires to promote site in search result...!!! thanks guys you been always helpful !!!

It really cannot be predicted as to how and when the urls will be indexed and
submitting a Sitemap doesn't guarantee that all pages of your site will be crawled or included in search results.There may be many reasons
May be your site was launched after Google's most recent crawl was completed.
or your site may have been temporarily unavailable when google tried to crawl it .

I couldn't understand what type of error is it, since it just indicate ERRORS.
SO haven't done anything to maintain it, however google is indexing the pages of my website despite the sitemap errors.

Hey, maybe u could just take some time to read Google's webmaster guideline, it tell u a lot about the crawling and index problem.
