Because Google PageRank is that: Each page on it's own has individual pagerank.
My guess is that all the links pointing to your site include the "www." whereas your site without the "www" has little or no links pointing to it. |

google treat www & non www as different..you should do a 301 redirection for pagerank will be pass..
