Hi All,

This is my first post to this forum, I can see all you guys are expert in SEO. I am a Designer and SEO (beginner). Below is a list of two websites I have just prepared with my team. However Google, Yahoo and MSN have crawled these website all-ready but ranking and PR is yet to see.

Can you please guide me to improove these websites?

PR is not dynamically updated so wait longer than 2 weeks. And ranking doesn't happen instantly either, as for Google, your site may be sandboxed (to get out you wait). There is a lot of waiting to do in the SEO area and can take a lot of time to get where you want to be in certain ranks, just keep in mind that stuff doesn't happen over night.

If you search for the domains you'll see you're indexed.

How old are the sites?
how mnay directories have they been submitted to?
any press releases?

There are many factors that go into ranking in google - the best way to ramp up is to read and participate in forums - remember, we were all novices too at one point.

• Explore Online Degrees in 18 days old and Intellimeds is 6 days old.

• We have submitted these websites to over 80 directoroes (Including top Search Engines), I really dont know if there is any list of directories which I can get. we searched for these directoriesourself and not even sure whether it is going to be good or not. Can you please help me in this, please provide me a list of good directories.

• Sorry, I don't know what is Press Releases. Can you tell me?

I have decided to keep visiting this Forum so that it can help me to understand what all is must to be a good SEO. I would really like if you can surf the websites and suggest me incase the optimization is not proper.

Google update external PageRanks every 3-4 months or so... Just for reference check out Page Rank update history...

You dont need to submit your site to search engine. They will find you through link on other sites such as directories and other niche relevant sites...
Submit your site to directories, and other relevant websites...

Sorry, I don't know what is Press Releases. Can you tell me?

• Please tell me one more thing. The list which you have suggested me regarding search engine directories, what if I submit my websites to all FREE directories only, should I not be bothered to spend my extra time to submit the websites to those search engines which I all ready have done? What if I would have just targeted only these free directories? If yes, will there not be a bit of delay with this?

• It was such a helpfull information from you on Press Releases, Thanks. I wish I would be able to post Press releases.

IMO.. NO.

What if I would have just targeted only these free directories? If yes, will there not be a bit of delay with this?

You need to do your competitors analysis... check out what sites are linking to their site and on what directories they are listed... and get listed.

Find relevant category for you site and start submiting your site to free... dont forget to read their submission guideline before submitting ...

Also you need to concetrate on other on page factors... Good Luck.

Will this solve my purpose if I sumbit my websites to top free Directories only, instead of doing submission to so many search engines?
