Sitemap Errors

Hi!
I have recently updated my google sitemap but as soon as it was indexed it showed three errors. They were all "404 page not found". The thing is, i have checked and the links which are dead are nowhere on my site and not mentioned in the sitemap i uploaded. They were all pages I used to have but haven't had live for some months. Is it a problem that google is finding dead links? What can i do about it?

Good question - I had the same problem...
And I have no answer!

There are probably links within the html coding still pointing to those pages.
