UK website has US servers, but want to be Google-UK listed
Our UK based website (www.hdc.uk.com) is currently run by www.ev1servers.net an American based server company.
We get a decent amount of US traffic, which unfortunately this is no good for us. Although we are listed in Google.com, when you click on "UK sites only", we are not even listed under our own name. Do we need to change to UK servers to attain UK Google status? |

Personally, I would try to keep the server local. Like, get a UK host. It will help with the response time of your server for UK people.
I'm not sure if Google handles UK sites and US sites seperatly or together or whatever they do. But have you tried submitting your site from the Google UK webite? Here's the URL: http://www.google.co.uk/addurl/?hl=en&continue=/addurl Maybe that will get it listed in the UK? |
