Problems with site: command and not indexing

Hi all,

Maybe I'm missing something but this seems somewhat strange.

I've recently (a couple of weeks ago) done a reasonably large update on my site www.barwickmultimedia.com.au and I've come across a few things that are puzzling me. Hopefully somebody knows why they're happening and how to fix them.

There's now about 400 pages on my site, but when using the google site: command http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=e...a.com.au&meta=, google only shows up 12 pages - some of them older ones which no longer exist.

Yet when I do a search for some specific, exact text that I know only exists on my pages - for instance, http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=e...aying%22&meta= ,Google shows results with one of the new pages.

I'm not sure how this would happen - Google knows that the pages exist, so they've been indexed, but doesn't recognise them as pages within the site using the site: command.

The other thing is that in the results the old META descriptions still show up - they have not been updated even though the new pages appear to have been indexed.

Has anyone else come across this or is it something simple that I'm missing? If someone could have a quick look at the source of one of the pages and let me know if it's something fundamental that I'm missing or if it's something Google will sort out next time it visits.

Many thanks!
