Redirects in Google
Hi, br brWe have a couple of sites that links to partners via redirects, the redirects are mainly there for us to get stats. brYesterday
we discovered that on one of the sites (I am currently investigating the other) the cloaked links seam to show up as backlinks in Google. br bri.e. the link at our page look like: a href="http://www.ourdomain.com/go.php?value=mm22132" target="_blank"http://www.ourdomain.com/go.php?value=mm22132/a brWhen clicked the user is redirected to another domain. brThe above page turns up in the serp for a backlkink search for the clients domain: link:www.client.com br brIt seams that Google actually follows the redirect? |
