See my mall shopping thread!

Hi all!

I have the site Mall Shopping From Home . My wife and I have worked on it for almost two years now and it has links to over 1,600 different stores from small specialty shops to the giants like Walmart and Amazon.

We are in the process of changing things for the ease of our customers. Some of the site opens up stores one way, and others another. This will all be taken care of soon.

As long as I'm upgrading I really wanted to see what other people think of the site, and what other changes I really need to make to it.

The link in the post body is a parked page, and the link in your signature 404ed.

Is it spelled right?

EDIT: I combined the link in your signature with the one from the post body and came up with mallshoppingfromhome. Is this right? It has 1612 shops currently so it sounds like the site you described.

I'm not really very good at website reviews, but one thing I noticed was that the volume of images took quite a while to load and Adblock blocked most of the content.
Congratulations on the amount of stores that you are advertising. Did you manually create all those pages, or is there some backend software?

Each one of the stores gives us a small banner and we have to find the catagory it fits into. As far as the individual pages, my wife created those along with all of the graphics. Many, many, hours have been put into this. A friend of mine told me it's "the coolest site that nobody looks at"....lol

The site now has all 1,600 stores opening in their own windows so you don't have to ever have to leave the site. Also, about half of the links are labeled and sorted alphabetically by catagory. These were two of the most problematic things for people.

I appreciate the feedback that I've gotten so far. Please feel free to PM me with any other suggestions, like the addition of particular stores.
