Contest Idea!

So i've been trying to think of ways to increase traffic to my website other than flyers and the usual.
My idea is to hold some type of contest with a cash giveaway!

So far all I can think of is something like guess how many page views Livestocktrade.ca will get on a certain date. The closest person to the actual number will receive a check for $5 Canadian. ( I will also list my page views for the week before I start the contest to give everyone a ball park idea)

I think it would increase traffic because its free money but on the other hand I would like to think of something that's more specific to my site. But since its animals and farm equipment I haven't had any good ideas.

What do you guys think good idea or waste of my money?
