Orkut isn't worth having fun in in the first place. Anyway, no one posts any constructive topics in the communities (I do have quite a few friends and am a member of some communities). I find GC much more interesting than all the rubbish things there. There's nothing worthwhile to do in orkut. So stop arguing. There's just too many people against you.

I love Orkut and I think its a great way to meet ur old friends! Orkut has more than 33 Million members (though some people might have opened multiple accounts).

Its a fun place and its very popular! Most of my friends regularly visit it so I haven't heard anyone (except people in GC) that Orkut is not a great place!

Answer: Yes.

I think Orkut has great potential, and has improved over the last few months. However, it is still a little clunky to use, and lately, I have started to get spam from that source. Orkut needs to completely remove the ability to do mass-mailings to other members; it is not needed.

It also appears to be completely overrun by Brazilians. If the stats are accurate, there are more Brazilians on Orkut than there are Brazilians with PCs. Which leads me to conclude that the Portuguese-speakers all have 10+ accounts.

For a while, it appeared to be devolving into just another porn site. That seems to be improving, but there is a ways to go. The internet already has enough porn sites.
