Advertising on MySpace

I hear that lots of people like to advertise on myspace...

I haven't seen much personally, but it does sound like a good way to tell people about your site.

I'm starting to do this with my custom song site. But, I'm not sure how to balance between spam and chit chat just yet.

Do you have experience with advertising on myspace? What are your tactics.. so far i've just been building friends and posting a little add on their comments along with a "hello how are you"

Not for advertising. But I actually used it. But it got boring fast. I tried Facebook also but wasnt my thing.

just limit your postings there... or else, you'll be banned...

I also post at myspace classifieds and the traffic is huge.

yep.. just limit your posts... a lot of account there have been removed or banned already.
