finding people on orkut

can you find people on orkut by typing in there email id.?
i have tried doing it but it doesnt work...
any other way to find someone who's id i know but he/she is not on my list...?

As of now there is problem in using Orkut. I still didnt try on how to find people on orkut. You may used this link http://www.orkut.com/Friends.aspx
as to search your friends or invite a friend to orkut.

Its very simple. just type the gmail ID of that person OR name of that person in the search box in orkut and you will get it if that is present on orkut .
