How do you send Orkut invites? I have an account.. do you automatically have invites?

You are granted unlimited orkut invites.
You click on the "friends" tab and then click on the "add a friend" link, after which you will be prompted to provide necessary details to invite a friend.

Does anybody know how long it takes an invite to reach you? I got an invite from someone on this site (bad memory, if you gave it to me, thank you, and sorry, because I don't remember at all who you are, I also don't remember what I had for breakfast an hour ago...)

It often takes 24 hours. Also, check your Spam and Bulk mail folders.
