I think its the traffic overall that counts a lot along with link to good page rank if its there.

if you want to increase your traffic i suggest that you should put a do follow link so that webmasters and seo could always visit your site to spam and make submission with regards to the site it should have been unique from other social network that people would actually bookmark your site.
