Orkut becomes bilingual - 04/05/05

This is old news, but I believe I should post it, as it hasn't been done so yet.

As guias no topo da página, os botões que você clica, a descrição sob o seu nome, etc., foram todos traduzidos. This was a good decision, and I hope they are undertaking measures to further translate the service to other languages. I think that Brazilians are cool and Portuguese is an interesting language. I may learn it in the future, making it the only 'Romance' language I will know besides a bit of Latin.

I am very happy about this translate. I am brazilian and the Brazilian people are very pleased with Google and Orkut about this new language

I'm not Brazilian but I speak portuguese, since I'm Portuguese... but I must thank the brazilian for this... sure they are number one users in the Orkut comunity (millions of them).

Do you think Orkut is better than Hi5? Or Kredo?

I would have thought by now like Gmail Orkut would have a lot more languages availabl than just Portuguese and English though google are proberbly working on more languages for Orkut now!
