Orkut Invitations - Archive, Locked -- see 'Read This First'

Ok there’s going to be some changes here on how you get invited to Orkut.

There are many members here who can invite you for free.

Previously this post told you too PM (private message) a member with your first name, last name, and email address.

This did not work out accordingly as more people posted here asking for invites than by sending pm’s, so it has came to my decision that it will continue this way, so for everybody wanting an invite please only post once (1) here asking for one.

Please do not create a new topic requesting an invite.
Do not reply to any other topic requesting an invite.

Please include the following information without the correct information we can not send you and invite, your email address will be removed from your post later to prevent spam in your inbox.

First Name Lastname
Email address

It would be nice if you told us why we should give you an invite and/or tell us something interesting:

And by the way, we would appreciate if you spread the word about Google Community. Some ideas: link from your website and tell your friends.

Because of intelliot`s generosity I got in orkut also and if you want you can send me too your [ first and second name and e-mail adress ].I want to thank once again intelliot.

I get like 10 requests for invites a week via the PM system. I believe that new visitors should be manually validated by the admin because I feel the only reason they sign up for the Google Community forum is just to get an orkut invite.

Some not only ask once, but ask twice, like mooching, and I'm going to shut off email notifications for PMs now.

Yeah... what should they be validated based on? A minumum post count to use PM?

Let's get back to talking about Google.

Looks like this and the Gmail forum need "cleaning" up!

If you want, make me a mod, I'll clean out the forums when I get the chance, and send out invites whenever I got the time.

I own my separate forums so I have lots of experience. I also have gmail account, so I'm not a moocher.

I don't think clearing out the forums would be a good idea, I have already locked up the topics that were requesting Orkut invites... Some topics unrelated to the forum were also moved...

I'm also a moderator at the GoogleGmails forum too, you know...
