phpBB is much better that Orkut communities
Today I went to Orkut for the first time and I found that phpBB (the software of this forum) is much better. Most of the wishes of the users (http://www.orkut.com/CommTopics.aspx?cmm=617) are solved by phpBB.
My own wish is, I can't stand a date-time such as Wed Aug 04, 2004 2:14 pm (Google Community's default) or 8/4/04 - 3:14 PM (Orkut's default). But phpBB is versatile enough to give me Wed 5 Aug 2004, 18:14. It not only lets me format the date and time, but knows what time zone I live in. |
