Hmm, interesting.
A friend of mine mentioned "Orkut" to me and told me to check it out.
I did so, but I got a little confused when I went there. -- Turns out you need to be invited to become a member of Orkut? If that is so, how did the original members come about? A little silly, I know, but a valid question, don't you think? -- Were they all friends of the creator, who then went on to invite their friends? If that's so, every member on Orkut would be a: Friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of the creator? Lol.. Must be a weird community! -- That's all for now. Took me a while to find a forum about Orkut! -- PS: Anyone know whether it's worth joining Orkut? |

Yes, the creators and Google employees were the original members and everyone else needs to be invited by them. And yes, everyone is a friend is some way - the reason for this is explained on the orkut website. orkut is kinda fun, but not a big deal. You should post on the forums to get the opinions of others.
