India vs Australia Which is the best team in ODI's

Keeping in mind the performance of Indian cricket team in the ODI's in the past 3-4 months, does India have it in them to challange Australia for the top spot.
Would like to hear your views about it..

Before I actually say anything, I'd like to object to one thing. You should really put the question you asked in your post into the poll. It doesn't make much sense the way the poll is now. It will if you ask an admin to do what I said.

Well, I believe they do. But I also believe that doing such a thing will be impossible unless the Indian cricket team defeats Australia in the World Cup next year, or the Champions Trophy. Whatever you say about India's form, the fact remains that Australia is probably twice as good as India. But the Indians do have a fair chance in the World Cup or the Champions Trophy. They've got Dhoni, Pathan and what not. Plus, I myself am an Indian. That might just come in helpful.
