well iamtheking9,
what do you mean?
obviously a computer can differentiate between a leg and a ball,it is understood,
it is also easily visible to the naked eye.
then what do you mean by your statement?if you watch a match properly you will definitely understand.

You don't understand, Arun. A computer cannot differentiate between the two scenarios Andrew told you about. It simply isn't possible.
You can, obviously, understand the difference, but a computer can't. Just cameras won't do. So, Arun, you need a human third-umpire.
But on-field umpires are of no use.

well iamtheking9,
why dont you understand what i am saying.
obviously a decision is taken by a human, how can a computer make a decision
after the umpire looks at the thing from different angles or whatever it is,he gives his decision, its obvious.
you arent getting my point.

You seem to have forgotten what you yourself wrote. You said that, according to you, the third umpire should be a computer.
And now you say that its got to be a human. You're contradicting yourself, Arun. Just agree with my point of view, will you?

well iamtheking9,
you cant be so silly as not to know that a third umpire decision is taken by a human after viewing the replay through all possible angles and it becomes absolutley clear,i hope you know that, please dont tell me that you didnt know that, the computer is not any human to take a decision, its of course the human after the best viewing,we have to talk about onfield umpires being useless.

Obviously. But you have to admit that it was you who started this third umpire debate by saying that the third umpire should be a computer. That's precisely what made Andrew say what he said. And that made me say what I said. I think you'd better remember what you wrote in your previous posts from now on, to stop creating this kind of a confusion again. So let there be peace now. At least until someone else comes and posts something.

Well....
I see that there has been a great confusion between IamThe King9and Arun in the matter of the third umpires
and also technology playing a role in it.Well if you ask me Arun yes indeed you mentioned at the first place that Third Umpires
are computers and then tried defending yourself. As a matter of fact you see that as said earlier indeed a computer
cant differentiate between a leg and a ball. But as it is viewed by a human eye there is no question that Arun is wrong.Yes but
Arun your statement that a computer can differentiate between the ball and a leg is incorrect.
So, I suppose you two- Anirban and Arun could stop arguing over this matter and rather concentrate more over the
topic posted.

Oh well. I suppose Arun won't admit his mistake. Too bad.
Anyway, back to the topic now. Hope more people post here.

hey iamtheking9,dont spoil my post by keeping on writing this nonsense, you are overly stubborn as you are in school and everywhere too,so dont post anymore for that here,if you want to speak about onfield umpires post here and as you said let more people post here and lets carry on the discussion about the onfield umpires.

and as for anirudh, you said that a human eye first views it which is absolutely right and i had said that earlier too and so in that case i am right that a person can nodoubt differentiate between a ball and a leg,you have even agreed to it but said that i am wrong,i suppose you made some typing error or something.
anyway lets close this topic here and iamtheking9 please dont post here speaking about the third umpire,as i said in ,my earlier post, lets stop it here and speak about onfield umpires for gods sake!!!!!!!
so from hereon, let peace prevail and lets stick to the topic!!!!peace
