Oh well. Anyway, Sehwag does play swashbuckling cricket. But, as Arun said, he needs to be in form to give India a proper opening. He can't just go out first ball, 'cause getting a good start is a very important thing, especially in one-day cricket.

But he's the only explosive opener in the team. There are other explosive batsmen, though, like Dhoni and Pathan. Still, I feel Sehwag's the best choice among them.

i dont think he is exactly explosive now and i still feel he has to be dropped for a few matches,he might have been swashbuckling but he isnt anymore and also he isnt giving a good start,he gets out really soon,he has to get back his form.

I suppose that maybe he could try domestic cricket for a while to get his form back, and then someone else like Dhoni or Pathan could take his place. But I don't like the idea of more experimentation with the Indian team. They've had enough of experimentation, and I just hope they stick to one team now.

Dude form is nothing!!!

It can change in seconds!!! If form matters then,now he would have been out of the team!!!

Form can change in a game and in one match if he is out on a duck,but it's not that he can't hit a century in his next game.

He is in the team because of his hard hitting and his Strike Rate!!!
