NBA Finals
Anyone have a prediction who will reach the Finals? I'll say the Detroit Pistons will represent the Eastern Conference because of their smoothering defense and experience. Miami will be tough though with Shaq and Wade!
The Western Conference is a toss up because of the depth. A front runner seems to be the Pheonix Suns and their transition/open court style of play, along with Seattle and Sacramento . But, I'll pic the San Antonio Spurs to make it through this very difficult side, if Tim Duncan is healthy. San Antonio Spurs vs. Detroit Pistons in the Finals! |

The Suns do not play interior defense and the Pistons would control the tempo, so no, they will not win the NBA Championship, if they should meet.
You have to play defense at some point to win the ultimate prize! I love to watch the Suns play though. Nash is simply awesome, he was with the Mavericks when I saw him. Amare Stoudemire is a dominate beast. Shawn Marion and Joe Johnson are very underratted on this team! |

The Chicago Bulls are down 3-2 to the hapless Washington Wizards.
FYI, the Bulls and Pistons are both in the Eastern Conference, making it impossible for them to meet in a Championship Final. |
