UEFA are a bunch of chickens with no guts.
After the incidents in Milan last week I can't believe how Inter Milan got off so lightly.
If that was an English team they would have banned all Brit teams from Euro tournaments. Like they did 20 years ago. This is a load of boll*cks if you ask me. Uefa and Fifa have no wait in their pants. last year during Euro 2004, Uefa said if any English fans cause any trouble, they will ban England and its fans from future Euro tournaments. Are they stupid, You have Spanish fans making Racist chants and even the coach of the Spanish national side make racist remarks. What did UEFA and Spanish Football league do slapped them on the wrist. Rio Ferdinand was banned for 8 months for missing a drug test even though he later took one and passed it with flying colours. Yet, Adrian Mutu of Chelsea was tested positive for Cocaine yet he never got a 8 month ban. Italian soccer fans take flares to the games, knowing how dangerous they can be, they are still aloud to take them. Why don't they let them take missile launchers instead as they have a further reach. If this happened in England it would be plastered all over the world and they would get severely punished. The fans of this great game must speak up and let them know that they are nothing without the fans. |

I can't believe it either!
UEFA claim there decision is justified by the fact that the games played behind closed doors will cost them £5m. What about the teams playing them! Don't they lose out aswell, as they don't get the percentage of gate receipts they would usually get!
Also never mind the club. What about the fans who caused the problem in the first place. A drunken kid does a monkey chant a Dwight Yorke and gets a £10,000 fine, and the inter fans who physically harm players get off scot free! I believe that the FA should get a country's own FA to sort out the problem themselves rather than getting EUFA to do it, as it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out their pro EU! |
