Huge difference in statistics
Hello to all of you!!I really need your help
I have a question regarding the results of google Analytics in comparisonto Webtrends. I tryied to figure it our myself but I couldn't SO PLEASE give me your lights. to explain what I mean for Thu 16 of May Google Analytics gave us 3400 for Page views and similar number for the rest of thedays..HOWEVER the Webtrends gives me around 37,338 average per day page views. AND I WONDER, no matter how different tools they use is it possible to have such a big difference? I am also giving you the definition of it tool for page views: I would also like to mention that there is a huge difference in visits as well. PA name=pageviewBGoogle AnalyticsBRPageview /B- A page is defined as any file or content delivered by a web server that would generally be considered a web document. This includes HTML pages (.html, .htm, .shtml), script-generated pages (.cgi, .asp, .cfm, etc.), and plain-text pages. It also includes sound files (.wav, .aiff, etc.), video files (.mov, etc.), and other non-document files. Only image files (.jpeg, .gif, .png), javascript (.js) and style sheets (.css) are excluded from this definition. Each time a file defined as a page is served, a pageview is registered by Google Analytics. Another possibility is that your visitors have javascript disabled, so Analytics won't track them. |
