Firefox google search uk instead of au ...pls help

Hello ... I have the google search feature in the toolbar of my firefox browser.
For some reason, however, when I use this feature, it searches google uk, instead of au.
When I type in something to search, it brings up the results in a new google page, and under the input box, is two options: search the web, and search google.uk. (this is what I need to change to ssearch google au or australia)
I have tried to search a way to change the settings, but can't find any.
Any help would be appreciated

On the toolbar, click the Google icon [default: far left]; go to Options; click the Search tab; Change "Use Google Site:" to what you want.

You could also add &gl=au to the end of the URL, &gl=uk for the UK.
