Tracking domain aliases?
Hello, brbrI have a question about tracking multiple domain aliases with Google Analytics. Does anyone know if they can be tracked separately?brbrHere's a little more about my setup: Let's call the main website "Toyota.com." The secondary domain, which is only used in print ads, is "BuyAToyota.com." When BuyAToyota.com is entered into the browser's address bar, it resolves as Toyota.com.brbrAs I understand it, Google Analytics will not distinguish between the two, and will report hits to both domains as having been generated by Toyota.com. Am I right about this? Is there any way to have them counted separately?brbrThanks!br

br I think the hits on the report will be the same because they resolve in one site, but you might see what you're looking for under span style="font-style: italic;"Martketing Optimization/Refering Source/span. I also have the case, domain1 resolves to domain2 and if I check the report, it indicates how many times the site was referred by domain1.br |
