Opening e-commerce site in new window
I've added all the necessary code to my site to allow me to track conversions through our e-commerce site which on a different domain to the one you start from.
Only problem is, if I add target="_blank" to the link in order to have it open in a new window, all I get is a blank window and not the e-commerce site. I can remove the target and have it appear perfectly fine in the parent window but this is not what I want from my site as it's not really a "shopping cart" scenario. A user will find a property they wish to book, go to the online availability window (which is the first part of the process that is on the other domain) and proceed to make a booking. If the price isn't right or the property isn't available they need to be able to go straight back to the main site and find somewhere else to book, hence the requirement to open the booking page in a new window. Anyone had a similar experience and got a solution to the problem? |
