Analytics for lead generating site

Hai all,
I have a lead generating mortgage website and i have started using analytics newly for this.

What are the general metrics I can consider for a lead generating site through Analytics? I didn’t run any paid campaigns in any search engines.
But still Analytics will be useful for my sites ?

Can anyone help me with ideas?

You need to set goals in your profile. for example in your site you have a webform to get leads, and thankyou.php when user submit the form. Add leads.php in goal1 & thankyou.php in goal 2, so you will get idea how many visitors are coming on webform page & out of them how many are submitting the form.
