All New Browsers RSS Issue
Hi everyone,
This message is for those people how care about web technologies and what we learned in many years. New browsers such as IE7, Firefox 2 are ignoring all XML/XSLT definitions and display their own format for RSS feeds. We all know that we can format an XML document using XSLT, now these guys are changing all that and don't let us to format RSS feeds using XSLT. That is unacceptable, they just can't change basic rules. There is no way (as far as I know in IE7) to disable built in format they came up for RSS. Millions of people using these browsers always see what they wanted them to see, not giving them an option to customize or disable that. Please spread this word, let them know they shouldn't ignore XSLT formatting for XML document including RSS fees. Thank you for spreading this word. A computer Guy. |
