I couldn't agree more Arisna! Two very good points and you just gotta love Open Source projects and their impact/meaning for the web. It probably keeps many talented people out of trouble because it gives them something constructive to do with their time. Mighty Micro$oft isn't going to disappear anytime soon I'm afraid, as long as they have Steve Ballmer at the helm they'll continue on. They are making big profits still in the server market.

I think I've said it before, but I use them all. To tell you the truth, I don't exactly like Mozilla (meaning I'd prefer IE). I think I'm the only one with that opinion here. It has never given me any problems before.

intelliot has disabled reputation
Here's an interesting comment I read on Geek.com
Quote:
let's look at the 18 Internet Explorer flaws which are unpatched. Internet Explorer even with all the patches are still rated highly critical unlike firefox/mozilla.
Also Internet Storm Center, CERT and Homeland Security recommended against the use of Internet Explorer last summer. Recently, the Finland's Government Information Ministry and Penn State University recommend against the use of Internet Explorer 6. Check the large number and severity of exploits to Internet Explorer 6. How many unpatched exploits for firefox/mozilla? None.
