IE is still king as far as compatibility, especially in the business environment. Things look a little better in IE as well, IMO. But Firefox is safer because it's not a target yet like IE. I love all the extensions available for it, too. If IE works better for the way you use it then I wouldn't switch either.
The fastest browser remains Opera, we have a thread here comparing all the major ones. Maxthon browser is based on IE and has Tabbed browsing funtionality. It has been downloaded 23,273,604 times! It's a matter of choice and Firefox and its many extensions has me hooked. I open twenty pages at a time, set up your bookmarks properly and in categories and it becomes raw speed! |
