Old Google Analytics Interface vs. New

I noticed that the old analytics interface is recording hits on my site that the new interface does not--at first I thought there was a lag on the new interface, but now it seems even previous days' hits (yesterday, for instance) are not appearing that do appear on the old. In essence, the old interface appears quicker and more efficient, so I'm still using it. What's going on there?

Google Analytics has been redesigned that's why the interface and function of it is now different. But you can still view the previous interface of it(Google Analytics)..

I think it depends what you are used to if you have used a certain version for a long time its only natural it will take time to appreciate the new version.
