How do I track my site when using a web alias?
Hi there
I'm using a web alias which redirects to my target domain, and there's a problem since Google Analytics doesn't recognize this alias as my target site, and I'd like it to do so. When I log in to see the report it says that there was xxxxxx visits from the reffering site what is not actually true because the visitors have to enter this site in order to view the target, and the GA treats it like it was another page reffering to mine. The site located on a target domain is not publically known, but just the alias is... So how do i merge these two so as to be treat as one? I'm not sure if GA can support any search engines information in that case as well. Thanks for your replies. |
