Unhappy Problems with the Function Tracking

I work in a pretty large site (esmas.com) and we have an internal statistical system and in all pages we have an external javascript to register the traffic data. Couple of months ago I started using analytics but I had troubles calling the URCHIN.JS function, basically because my system already uses a java script function, you know you can not call an external JS inside another JS. So I copied-pasted the code inside my external .JS and it started working pretty well but on June 20 the code inside URCHIN.JS was updated and my site stops reporting traffic I copied the new code and pasted again inside my JS but this time it didn’t work.

Does anyone knows a workaround to make the analytics call inside an external Javascript? Creating a new function and set it in all of my webpages is a huge task, so any help will be really appreciated.

Regards, Bernardo.
