Tracking Press Release Results in Google Analytics

Just wondering if anyone out there is or has used Google Analytics to track press releases and how did you do it? It seems to me that there are many different ways you could do it. The concept seems easy if you only have one link to your website in the release; referring site report and look for each news service (prweb, prnewswire, etc.) and then click each to see the referral path of each news service to measure the results (if there are multiple releases, if only one release then there wouldn't be a need to see the referral path). But what if your release had multiple links and you wanted to track each link? I was thinking that if you created an optimized press release, and sent it out via prweb, prnewswire and business news wire, that you would tag each link like:

mysite.com/?utm_source=prweb&utm_medium=press+release&utm_cam paign=seminar&utm_content=link1 mysite.com/?utm_source=prweb&utm_medium=press+release&utm_cam paign=seminar&utm_content=link2

and so on for as many links as you had, and then changing the utm_source for each news service,

mysite.com/?utm_source=prnewswire&utm_medium=press+release&ut m_campaign=seminar&utm_content=link1

etc., etc. Would that be a good method and does anyone have any other ideas? I guess you could also not tag any of the links and just create a unique landing page which would be very easy to track as well, since you can segment by source.

Thanks!
