One site, two tracking codes, one account , two profiles?

If I am using two tracking codes for one site, do they need to be from different account numbers sets, or can I use tracking codes such 1234567-1 and 1234567-10 or should they be like 7654321-1 and 9999999-10?

You can have as many websites and tracking codes under one account as you like, thats if your talking about google analytics??
