Firefox 1.5 Beta

I download this today and so far so good. The pages are loading faster, one of my big complaints with the past few upgrades. No crashes yet either, which is nice for a Beta release.

Yea, I'm using right now also and like it so far. Just wish all my extensions would be compatible right now. The big complaint I have is if you uninstall some extesions or install some and then go to change a theme and restart, it won't change the theme or an extension may not uninstall so you have to do it again.

The current stable version is 1.0.6.
The official Beta Build is 1.5 and the Nightly Build is 1.6.

1.05 fixes security bugs. 1.5 Beta introduces some bug fixes and new features. 1.6 fixes even more bugs and the lot.

Just so everyone knows. Beta 2 has been released and everyone that has Beta 1 should get a Upgrade notification about it.

geekerati is an unknown quantity at this point
I think this is the last beta before the final release, scheduled to be out later on this year. :0 What are they calling it? 2.0??

If you are actually beta testing this, you should wait until the new automatic update function comes looking for you, that's one of the major things they are trying to emplement, I believe. Your download (update) should only be around 700k as opposed to the continuous 4 and 5 mb's we've all been having to endure throughout teh Fox of Fires climb to teh forefront.

I switched over to the Deerpark version because I can't get the other one. 1.0.x to install correctly for some reason. I've deleted the profiles and directories, but still no help. This one seems to work fine but, few of my extensions work knowadays. IE is too dangerous to use admist all of these phishing schemers. If you are using IE be sure to clear your clipboard continously and turn off the scripts or else these feckers will be pwning you.

If you are one of the evil-doers I hope your/parents house cacthes on fire and it burns up all of your Barbie dolls. *evilgrins*

A friendly shout out to the rest of us who are civilized! "Hollar at your buddy sometime"

What's so funny about peace, love and understanding!!
